She had seen a competition on the Hawk Conservancy website and knew that the class would be whizzy at using their addition skills to try out her ideas.
The Bird Race game uses two dice. You have to find the total to see which bird could move forward.
Some of the dice had numbers more than 20 on them to make the game more challenging!
The next task was to plan a flying display. The birds could only fly for certain times which meant some excellent adding, (or multiplying) was required.
The tricky thing was making sure the display timings weren't too short or too long.
Mrs Tatman was delighted with all of the hard work she saw. If the Hawk Conservancy like her game then they will send her some bird stickers to share with her helpers!
