What's the difference

We looked at the the tricky concept of difference when we are doing our maths work.  We started off by looking at what was different about children in our class -- height, clothes, shoes and hair.  Once we decided that difference was easy to understand we looked at the difference in shapes (both 2d and 3d) and finally how to work out the difference between numbers. We think we have it understood now!
