We had to sort lots of different materials into groups - trying to decide how we were going to sort everything from a rubber duck to a flannel and a shell. We mostly decided to sort them by texture - soft, hard, squidgy and rough but there was a lot of debate as we tried to put everything into a group and some materials were just not that easy to sort!
We also looked at a variety of objects and thought about why the material they were made from suited their use. Lots of discussion and thought went into this - well done everyone for putting on your thinking hats during this time.
