We explored verbs, adverbs and nouns.
We used what we knew about these words to write our own silly versions. Alex's was fantastic:
Drive, drive, drive your car,
Quickly down the road,
Speedily, speedily, speedily, speedily,
Before the shops explode!
Well done Alex!
And Erin's boat changed into a mouse!
Shove, shove, shove the mouse
Roughly down the stream
If you see a mouse
Don't forget to squeak!
