We have been excellent scientists today and have been using our observing skills. We have been learning all about what a fire needs to burn and how to put a fire out!
We burnt 3 candles.
We covered one with a cup. It went out because it didn't have any oxygen.
We poured water on the next candle. It sizzled and then went out because it didn't have any heat.
The third candle melted the candle wax and burnt the string and then went out because it ran out of fuel.
GREAT OBSERVING ASH CLASS!!!!
