Differences and similarities!
In our reading session this morning, we used our thinking skills to record some similarities and differences and compare the books that we have been reading recently.
Everybody worked very hard and Miss Guest was very impressed.
We were very excited when Miss Guest said we could write our names on the tables!
Outdoor art!
We have been practising our sketching skills by drawing some natural things we found on the playground.
Then we used watercolour paints to thoughtfully and carefully finish our brilliant works out art!
Miss Guest loves them so much she has displayed them in our classroom!

Food Chains Frenzy!
There was so much to share this morning in Science ~ it all became a bit manic!
There was a 3 minute challenge...
... followed by a discussion session in pairs about producers, predators and prey.
We finished the session with a piece of writing to show Mrs Clark what we know about Food Chains. Mrs Tatman is sure that she will be super impressed!

10 commandments
We read the story of Moses and the 10 commandments.
We thought about why these would be important and which rules would be important to us.
We wrote a list of commandments that we thought were important in school.
We voted to see which commandment was the most important overall.
In Ash class we think - Looking after school equipment is really important.

Andy Goldsworthy
We have been looking at the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Andy Goldsworthy is a brilliant British artist who collaborates with nature to make his creations. We were inspired by him to create our own natural designs.
Find out more about Andy Goldsworthy here!
We first designed our ideas using natural materials and then created them in the playground. Can you see the resources we have used? What do you think would be a good title for our art? #
