Drawing the Small Folk

We explored sketching techniques this afternoon to draw our Small Folk. We used special 4b pencils to create a nicer, softer effect.

Super writing today in Walnut! Amazing use of imagination and vocabulary, you should all be proud of yourselves.

Everybody made sure that they were looking closely at their steps to success and there was lots of 'green is great'!

Thursday Maths Rotation

We spent the afternoon exploring symmetry.

We did some painting with dots and folding paper to create a symmetrical picture.

We looked at shape on Todo Maths which we love playing on the iPads.

Also we had a look at using mirrors with Miss W.

We had shapes on the IWB, to sort using our own criteria.
