Sneaky Spiders!

Those spiders were hiding numbers on the 100 square again this morning!

Once we had written the numbers that were missing, we then had to explain how we knew which number to write down.

Lots of great Maths language ~ well done!

Suffixes *ness and *er

We looked again, at adding suffixes to change a word this week.
What did we have to do with adjectives that end in y?

We used *er to compare book characters. Can you remember some of the words that you wrote?

Book Day Maths!

In Walnut this afternoon, the maths rotation was linked to World Book Day.
Miss Rous was collecting data, and then creating a block graph to use to ask and answer questions.

Mrs Tatman was focussing on using great reading skills to solve a problem.

Thank you everyone for making such a huge effort!

Amazing Adjectives

Ash had some fun writing a description of our favorite characters today. We used lots of lovely adjectives.

Our Ash and Willow Book Share

Year two got to read a book with the year fours. It was a really lovely book share with lots of smiley faces.
