Sports Day Practice
Mr Wahab worked with Year 2 this morning to get us ready for some races next week.
Finding Out About Farms
We started the morning by trying to work out different types of farming, using photographs from around the world.
Then, Mrs Tatman gave us the challenge of sequencing pictures showing how rice is grown in China.
We worked with a partner to read, talk about, then decide.

Our Animal Stories - Planning Time
Ash class looked at the structure of the stories in Mudpuddle Farm. We have then worked on planning our own stories to write. However we are planning and writing them as a table group! The main challenge has been to have to work as a team, lots of us learnt about compromise today!!
Exploring Prayer
Today we reminded ourselves of what we had been learning about in RE. Mrs Turner was so impressed with everything that the children had learnt with Mrs Tatman! We compared Judaism, Islam and Christiantity. We realised that there are some things that they all have in common such as prayer.
We then thought carefully and use our best expanded noun phrases to write prayers for Mr Lavis to use.
