Traction man - English/Literacy

Today we used props from the different settings within the story - Traction Man is here. This helped us to imagine and verbally describe the settings.

1.  The defeat of the evil pillows

2.  The kitchen sink drama

3.  The garden dollies

4.  Bath time

5.  The rescue of the spoons

To partition numbers by tens and ones. - Maths

To partition numbers by tens and ones.

In pairs children chose a two-digit number from a basket and made it using base 10. 

Then used whiteboards and pens to draw the partitioning part-part whole model.
