It is essential that all our pupils know these sounds.  It will enable them to become confident readers and spellers.

The link below offers great support and advice for parents and children. It is vital that we teach the children the correct pronunciations. We are finding that the children have many misconceptions, and are making mistakes from Reception right through to Year 6.
