Apple morning!

Year 2 followed up from picking the delicious apples growing on our trees last week by tasting, cooking, drawing and doing maths with them all morning.  We carefully drew a still life of the apples using coloured pencils and practiced our sketching skills only using pencils as we looked carefully at the sliced apples - it was quite tricky to do!
We practised our times tables by looking at different arrays of apples on the tables and then writing a times table number sentence to match.
What an amazing amount of learning from our apple harvest!
