Animal Classification

Mrs Turner had to be very naughty and sneak her children's animal toys out of the house this morning! But it was all for a good cause!  We used them to help us sort - mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects and fish. 
We then made a 'classification quilt' of our creatures.  Each colour represents a different animal type.  We learned whether they were warm or cold blooded, if they laid eggs or had live young and what they were covered in.  Our patchwork pals have livened up our boring window.
