X factor Maths

Year 2 have been using the X factor during their learning on multiplication this week. We now know that using X is much quicker and easier than + and + and + (repeated addition).  We have also been using the word array to show how each multiplication can be shown in rows and columns.
We are also learning our times tables. We are singing the times tables songs on Education City (Maths/Year 2/activities link) if you want to join in!
