What direction should we go?

We have been exploring the different ways we can give directions -- clockwise, anticlockwise, quarter turns and half turns, left and right.   We looked at how the buffalo found a new watering hole and then we tried to follow instructions we had made on a grid to tell our talk partners where to go.
