What Is Inverse?

We went back to exploring inverse in Maths this afternoon..... what does it mean?

         

                

Mrs Tatman worked with a group to look at how many addition number sentences they could write in two minutes. The answer had to be 12 every time!

                 

We then looked at the inverse of these number sentences, starting with 12 and taking away.
