Brilliant Books at the Book Shop

In our Maths work today, we were looking at the prices of books in our classroom.

First we had to work as a team to order the books from the cheapest to the most expensive.

                                 

                                       

Then Mrs Tatman and Mrs Peterson  asked us questions about the books and their prices.

                   

Each group then had a slightly different task to complete using money or dienes to show our understanding of how much they cost.

                   

         

We are going to be using these books to explore adding and giving change next week.... don't forget to look at your books at home and compare the prices you can see!
