Who was Samuel Pepys anyway?

Year 2 had a visitor to their classrooms on Wednesday who wanted to know all about Samuel Pepys. Our Fire of London experts were happy to write all they knew about this famous writer so our visiting alien had lots to read by the end of the morning. There were details about his work in the navy, how he loved to eat cheese and wine, his big wig and fancy clothes as well as the million words he wrote in his diary and his friendship with King Charles II.
